ASA--do you ever have any problems with frozen water pipes in your house? Believe it or not, even when we have our rare 29 or 30 here, I wrap my outdoor spigots with a towel! In fact, recently on Ask TOH, Richard the plumber demonstrated that very situation.
RO--I sure hope your weather improves soon. When we get such a day here, I brew some coffee, add some cocoa, and just sip and gaze out our front window. :)

Yessir GF, At least a 20 oz. Would be even more if she could lift it. :)

MDC, I hear you folks are going to get e real gully washer today. Hope you don't get flooded.

John, glad things at your end are going better.

Hiya Frankie. You watching all those old westerns on ME tv today?

Yesterday was wild around here. I was coming home from the pharmacy and noticed a Sheriffs truck with a car pulled over just down the street from my house. Well within 30 seconds there were at least 40 to 50 cop cars converging in the area. Sheriffs trucks, Utah Highway Patrol, several police cars from nearby cities. And then a SWAT van rolls in and about 10 guys bail out of the back all carrying assault weapons. I'm thinking, my goodness, what's going on. Then I see a half dozen cops in my back yard, and more in my neighbors yards on either side of me. Suddenly they converge on my neighbors 5th wheel travel trailer and pull a guy out of there and cuff him. It seems the car was stolen and when pulled over two suspects took off running. They caught one in my one neighbors barn, and the other in my other neighbors travel trailer. I tell ya, I was glad to see them fellers and told them how much I appreciated what they did. They spent another hour at least looking all over the three back yards trying to see if they had stashed any guns or drugs anywhere. Old Barney would have been plenty excited if he had seen this. lol

Boo, I hope all is ok at your place. I hope Bruce is dealing with it alright.

Well off to do some laundry.

Asa

February 22, 2020 - Msg 113781: Good morning, porch! Wow, Asa, you had some excitement going in your neighborhood, for sure. Barney would have been in a real tizzy, and would probably have swallowed his gum. I'm thinking those two guys they were after had done more than just steal a car. Probably escaped prisoners, to cause all that uproar. Every day, in every way, I'm grateful for our police officers. They deal with crazies, druggies, and just plain mean people every day. They risk their lives, are insulted, attacked, spit on, and criticized by people who wouldn't even think of trying to do the job the police do all the time. Then when one officer panics, makes a fatal mistake and an innocent person dies, the whole force is maligned and criticized, and all the armchair heroes start writing nasty letters about the police to the newspapers. All I can say is - walk a mile in their shoes, and get off their backs! I'm just grateful that God doesn't judge me by the decisions and actions made by anyone but myself, and we should never judge a whole police force by the behavior of one incompetent officer. Yes, I'm referring to an incident that occurred in Ft. Worth recently. OK, 'nuff said.

I took Tillie to the car wash yesterday, and got her all spruced up. I paid a little more and got her cleaned and shined inside as well as out. She sure does look purty! I know it's my imagination, but have you ever noticed that when your car is fresh and clean it seems to run better? Not that Tillie doesn't run very well, she does, but she does seem to appreciate a nice bath now and then. By the way, she's an '04, so is now 16 years old, runs like a fine watch, and in about 50 miles she'll turn her first 100,000 miles. And - she has been paid for now for ten years. No dings or scratches, she's beautiful, and people still try to buy her from me. I'm so glad I've kept her, and I have no intentions of selling her. I've told my kids that when I pass, I expect one of them to drive her in the funeral line!

Well, guess I'll go try to get a little done around here. Trinket has carpeted the floor with toys, and I need to pick at least some of them up, to give me a safe trail to walk through! She has at least a hundred toys, probably more. There are still many of Sugarplum's toys in there, and then all the many toys that were Toye Starr's, and of course Trinket has already acquired quite a few of her own. My kids brought her new toys when I got her, and she got some for Christmas, of course. Some are pretty ratty-looking, and of course, those are her favorites. She's hilarious. She will pick out one small toy, and play with it all afternoon. She gets it in her mouth, shakes her head and releases the toy, and she can throw it completely across the den, about 25 ft. Then she chases it and does it again. All the while, she's keeping a little soft growl going. Pestilence though she may be, she keeps me laughing all the time. If I had to use just one word to describe her, it would "joyful." She's just happy and enthusiastic all the time. She's bigger than I wanted, and she's rowdy and disobedient, but she's also loving and happy - just joyful. She was just what I needed, whether I knew it or not. Blessings! --Romeena

February 22, 2020 - Msg 113782: Romeena, I do think you are as right as rain about those fellers having more than just a stolen car on their plate. And I could not agree more with your comments about our law enforcement men and women. I have complete respect and admiration for what they do.
I have said for years a clean car runs better than a dirty one and most folks just look at me like I'm a nut. Sure is good to hear someone else say that.
And it sounds like you and Trinket are settling in very comfortable together. I just knew you would Ro, because you are wired that way. (and I mean that in a good way Dear)

You bet Barn would have been all over it like.., well, er...like stick on fly paper. (The censor would have got me with what i was thinking!) ha I get coffee now and then at our QuikTrip stations, and i have often paid for an police officer's purchase. Just my way of saying Tanks!
And Yes, we did get a good desert rain here today...officially almost 2 inches!! The first Spring training games were rained out today!
RO and ALL--ever wonder why we refer to cars, ships, etc, as "shes?"
Seriously, I've always wondered about that. Even Gomer told Mr. Tucker
that "She's an 8 cylinder, she'll take 8. (spark plugs that is) I'm just curious.
Also, I like to degrease and hose down my truck and Durango's engines at the self-s@rvice car wash now and then. Even tho I can't really work on my ve-HIC-cles anymore, I do like a clean machine. :)
And glad to hear that Trinket finally is 'getting it!' :)
BOO--prayers continue for your family during this time of mourning.

MDC I spent yesterday baking and watching the NASCAR race and working on my jigsaw puzzle. Jigsaw puzzles are very popular here, my daughter turned me on to them and she pops in a couple of times a day to work on one with me. She and my son-in-law live across the street from us and they each own their own business. Asa you must have been terrified returning home and seeing all that activity in your neighborhood. Boo you and your family are in my prayers. Sarah

February 24, 2020 - Msg 113788: HI Sarah! Good to see you occupy your time between calls from Barney trying to sweet talk Juanita! ha Just curious, what did you bake?
Well, I started a new 'ministry' today! I joined up with the
volunteers who clean our church on Monday mornings! My goodness, I think the prison ministry was safer! ha
We donned rubber gloves and perused the pews and the hymnal holders for everything from cheerios to klenex to waterbottles, sunglasses, hats, even keys, and one guy found a cellphone, etc. We should have had blowers like cleaning a stadium! :) Our church serves 1500 families with a Sat. evening service, and a 7, 9, and 11 on Sundays.
Well, that certainly got me going, so I think I'll go for a bike ride around the 'hood. Weather is a beautiful 65 right now.

February 27, 2020 - Msg 113799: Good morning, porch! A beautiful, sunny day here in Texas! It's chilly, at 44°, but heading for 60°, so no complaints here!

I had a wonderful, blessed experience Tuesday night. Our church sponsors a Women's Dinner three times a year, with a wonderful catered meal, and a guest speaker. Our Spring dinner was Tuesday night, and Eloise and I, along with Eloise's daughter, Terri, and Terri's daughter Makenzie, and her other daughter, who of course is my son's wife, Brittney. We all sat together, and had a lot of fun, and then the speaker was introduced. Have you ever heard of the Facebook viral celebrity, Chewbacca Mom? Well, the real Chewbacca Mom, Candace Payne, was our speaker. She is amazing! She just radiates joy. If you want to know more about her, just go to YouTube and search for "Chewbacca Mom" and you'll get her story. She has written a book (of course) and I bought one (of course) and when she signed it for me, I shared with her the little story of how Dale and I handled my cancer and subsequent mastectomy in 1979 - with humor. She loved it, got someone to take a picture of us, and later posted it online. Obviously, she is a dedicated Christian, and that's the source of her joy. She was just a delight, and I actually got to meet Chewbacca Mom! What fun, and what a blessing!!

MDC, I need some of those little blue pills. Do you think Miss Ellie would sell me some? I've got a dime! I declare, this business of getting old, is getting old! My hair is thinning out (eek!), that old Itis boy, Arthur, is camped out here and there in my body and I never know where he's going to settle next. I'm scattering brain cells all over Texas, I couldn't run if a bear was chasing me, I've got more spots than a Dalmatian, and I can't trust my left knee to support me, but I refuse to carry a cane. I just hold onto furniture, walls, and other people when the knee is being contrary. But you know what? I'm here, I'm ten years past my allotted three-score-and-ten, even after cancer 40 years ago that the doc thought would take me within two years, I have a loving family, a crazy little puppy, a very high pain tolerance (thank goodness!), good friends, and I know where I'm going when I leave this world. How can I be anything but happy?

Well, gotta run. I have a "well-woman" check with my primary doc today, the visit that Medicare insists on once a year. No problem, we'll chat for a few minutes, she'll ask me if I have any complaints, I'll ask her if she wants a printed list, we'll have a good laugh, and I'll come home. Maybe I'll pick up something good and sinful at a fast food place, and finish the day playing with Trinket. She's so much fun. I love it when she's overcome by the "zoomies" and just zooms around the living room, as fast as she can go (and she's fast!) until she just flops over with her tongue hanging out. After than, she'll bring me a toy to throw, I'll do it, and she'll go get it, but she doesn't bring it back to me, she throws it for herself after I throw out the first pitch. Funny little critter! Blessings, all! --Romeena

GF--you getting any lake effect from this latest storm??
RO, if I may, I highly suggest a 4 post cane when you are not around people or furniture as a hip repair is no picnic! Just sayin'.
I'm seeing on the internet recently how so many people are catching the 'Bernie virus' of wanting free everything! It has to be paid for some way, be it higher taxes, something more from paychecks, etc. I hope the 'medicare for all' folks realize that there IS a monthly premium for medicare, and that it only pays for 80% unless one buys a supplement plan.
OK, let's play ball.
Weather here today was 75, great baseball weather! :)

February 28, 2020 - Msg 113804: Just a quick update. My mother's cousin, who I told you she was so upset about having cancer, died early this morning. In a MONTH and a half, he went to the doctor for severe pain, had tests run a couple of weeks later, was told there was nothing that could be done and he should do everything he wanted, died this morning. It was literally that fast. My wife and I couldnt be there as we have my father. But my mother is with the family. She went down yesterday to say goodbye just in case. She is probably helping get things together as he will be cremated and buried in my grandmother's grave.

February 28, 2020 - Msg 113807: Good afternoon all.

John, so sorry for the loss of a family member. Very sad. Prayers for you all.

Hey Possum. good to see you posting. I thought we were going to have to jab you with a stick to get you out from under that rock. :)

GF, Who would be so mean to call Joe an apron? Why that is just plain cruel. lol I hope you don't get to much. Very spring like here today but we are supposed to get a storm on Sunday. But this late in the season, they usually don't stay for long.

MDC, I know what you mean about the pill box. I'm the same way. I spend part of Sunday loading mine and Debbie's up for the week. I don't need much but Debbie sure does. Did you get that garage all cleaned out?

Frankie, sorry you are having neck pain. Just is hard to age and stay pain free. I sure wonder how much of this virus talk is hype and how much is sincere. Whenever the politicians get involved it makes me wonder. Good gravy, they can't even declare a winner up in S. Dakota (or is it North) but want to chime in on this virus and start using it for political purposes.

Romeena, I have to agree with MDC about using a cane around the house. If you have a knee that wants to give out on you, please be careful. You know what they say about an ounce of prevention. Don't make MDC and me come down there! :)

Boo, my continued prayers for you all. I hope everyone is ok. Especially Bruce. I know how hard it is to lose a parent.

Sarah, my Wife loved to do jigsaw puzzles before she took ill. She no longer can sit at the table and do them. I know she misses that.

Well I pruned my peach tree today and did some cleaning in the yard. Hopefully next week if the weather allows, I am going to aerate the grass. I purchased a good aerator I pull behind my riding mower and it does a dandy job. Pulls out the plugs. Makes it look like 4 million cats pooped on my lawn. lol But I think the lawn appreciates it in the long run. Then I have another device that dethatches the lawn. The only problem with that is I end up with a lot of dethatched grass that I have to dispose of. I may have to think Dave Browne or Henry Wheeler style on that one.

Well I hope everyone has a safe weekend and a blessed one.

ASA-good to hear from you! I was going to call, so glad you posted. I'm sure you are busy with lots to do and caregive as well. The garage is looking good again, BTW. But now I have a new project. Our bath exhaust fan/heater unit went out. I installed it about 20 years ago, so i guess it was 'due.'
I think I can do a new one, as it is in a very accesible area of the attic,
but on the other hand, I'm no longer a spring chicken. I have ordered a new one from Lowes. I'll try, but if too hard, I'll call the man. Good luck with the thatch.

February 29, 2020 - Msg 113811: Good morning, porch! Beautiful, bright sunny day here in Texas! It's 65°, heading for the mid-70s, and should be in the 60-70s range for the next week. I love it!

I got my hair cut yesterday, and since I was the last appointment and there would be no one there but the stylist and I, she asked me to bring Trinket. Cheryl has cut my hair for 40 years, and was a good friend of Toye Starr, and wanted to meet Trinket. So I took her with me, and she behaved very well. I put her little harness on her, which looks like a little pinafore, and put on her leash, and to my utter surprise, she walked on the leash quite nicely. If you remember, Toye Starr would flip over on her back and lay there waving her little legs and screaming. She never, ever, walked on the leash. I expected a battle royale with Trinket, but she acted like she had been doing it all her life. I was proud! Shocked, but proud! Then while I was in the chair, she sat in my lap with an apron around her, just her head sticking out, and behaved beautifully. There may be hope for the little wild thing yet. Oh, and no accidents on the floor for at least two weeks! I'll be getting the carpet cleaned again at the end of March. If that doesn't work out, I'll have no choice but to replace the carpet in two rooms, maybe three, unless I can find a perfect match. Arggh!

John Masters, I'm so sorry to hear of the death of your family member. There is a mercy in that he didn't have to endure for very long. There are times when death is a blessing.

Well, the key fob for Tillie finally gave up. A new battery didn't help, and the guy at Batteries Plus said it was just worn out, the little buttons weren't even making contact anymore. I have another one, and figured that was all I needed, because it works, but the guy explained that if that one ever fails, there will be no way to recover a useful one. As I understand it, you have to program the replacement, using the second one. If there is not a working fob, then there's no way to program another one. So, he ordered a new one, it finally came in, and now on Monday I have to take both fobs in, and he will program the new one from the backup, and I'll have two working fobs. I realize I can still lock and unlock the doors, using the key, but I like the convenience and safety provided by the fob. I never thought about the thing wearing out, but Tillie is 16 years old, so I guess it was inevitable. By the way, she has 99,930 miles on her right now. I'm paying attention, because I want to witness it when she turns over 100,000. Pretty low mileage for such a "mature" car. I took her in and had her washed and detailed last week, and she just looks gorgeous. No dents or dings, she looks showroom-new. Someone offered to buy her from me last week, that makes the sixth person to just walk up and ask me if I want to sell her. Uh, no, I don't.

Well, guess I'll go feed Stinky Trinky, and play with her a while. She likes to choose a toy from the dozens that litter the floor, brings it to me to throw, and I do. She chases it, but doesn't bring it back, she proceeds to throw it for herself, run after it, and do it again. She'll entertain herself with that one toy for about ten minutes, until she gets tired. She is a funny little critter!

MDC, I do have a cane, but it's not one of the 4-post kind. It's one my daughter got for me in Fredericksburg, back in 2005 when I had the ACL replaced in my left knee. It's turned-wood, very pretty, and I do use it at times. If I'm going to be in a crowd, or walking a very long distance, I sometimes carry it. I don't need it for walking, but it does keep people from jostling me in a crowd, and it has other perks. For example, when I have to get my driver's license renewed, it's very handy. Around here, we have one place where everyone from about four of the mid-cities goes, and there's always an hour-long line. Standing for that long is hard for me, so I carry my cane. When I walk in the door, someone will come to me and lead me away from the line, over to a little private desk in the corner of the room. I'm done and out of there in less than ten minutes. It sometimes works in a check-in line at the airport, too, but I don't do much flying anymore.

Well, I'm off to see the wizard! Blessings, everyone! --Romeena

February 29, 2020 - Msg 113812: RO--glad to hear you do use a cane from time to time. My dad used the 4 post kind because it is more stable and it stands up by itself! ha
Also, your situation with your fob reminded me of something i heard a few years ago. To be honest, I don't know if it is true or just a joke, but supposedly a lady's fob quit working, and she couldnt get her door to unlock, so she called On-Star to have them unlock the doors, which they did. (It is done over the airwaves) But the customer service guy ended the call by saying "You know lady, you CAN also use your KEY to open the door! Just letting you know." haha
GF-ASA--just got an email that my new exhaust fan will be here on Monday. I'll be entering the 'world of the unknown' (attic) very soon. :)
OH, I saw Elinore Donahoe on an episode of the old "Coach" show yesterday.
(She was playing Luther's blind date!) Then today I saw the Skipper (aka Jeff Pruitt) on Wanted Dead or Alive as an outlaw! Such goings on, such goings on. :)

March 03, 2020 - Msg 113819: Hello everyone, just dropping by cause its been awhile. We are doing ok, just busy as usual. Bruce is doing fairly well, I think. He stays busy so doesn't take the time he should to grieve. He called me into the bedroom last night before he went to sleep and wanted me to lie down with him so he could talk. He held onto me and asked me to sing to him. Its been over 20 years since he has done that. Maybe it was just the little boy in him missing his mom. We talked for quite awhile and shared memories about times past and what his mom had meant to him and the family. I bit my tongue and agreed, for his sake. lol Anyway, thank you for your prayers for us. We will be ok because we all have each other and Jesus. Bruce is still struggling with his beliefs but I think the walls are coming down. He may feel lost from Jesus but he really isn't. Jesus is right there.

Romeena, I saw some photos of you that Brittany posted on facebook at the women's meeting. You are so lovely. When I see a photo of you it hurts a little because I want so bad to be able to give you a hug in person. You have meant so much to me these years. I hope you know that.

Well, someone asked about work..probably MDC. Things are getting a little better. We did hire a new nurse who seems good but we already lost two others so almost back to square one. The weekend nurse was fired this weekend so I will be back to mostly working weekends for now and that is ok with me. The weekends are typically slower and easier and the boss isn't there making me crazy. She is kind of ADHD or OCD or something. Honestly, she is probably just what we needed and nobody is perfect so I just smile and ignore what I can. lol She has certainly whipped things into shape in many ways but sometimes she majors on the minors and minors on the majors if you know what I mean. One thing she has done that is great is to spend her own money on fixing the place up. Everything in the nurse's office is cleaned and painted and has nice pictures and posters on the wall. She even cleaned out a room and gave us a little lounge for our coffee pot, microwave and fridge. We still have the climate issues and the new owners have yet to do anything about that. Things are moving very slowly and I am beginning to think they may not change much. How I wish I had the money to buy out the place and start from scratch..new facility, new admin staff, computer systems. Im dreaming.

Well, best go get some things done. We will be having Bruce's mom's memorial service on the 21st and it will be in the sweet little mayberry church I have been visiting. I think its the perfect location and sweet Pastor Dear is letting us use it at no cost. So, we will have some things to prepare for that. There is a little fellowship hall where we will have coffee and water and a few refreshments after and then family will gather at our house and out to eat later in the evening. I have to go through old photos and such for a slide show and dig out the old family home movies. I am going to try and make and decorate some cookies. I have been watching some videos on youtube about how to decorate sugar cookies and it looks like fun.

Hope all of us escape the corona virus. People are freaking out around here because there were a few cases in San Antonio. Nothing in the corpus Christi area yet. I just keep telling people to wash their hands! best line of defense and eat beans at least 3 times a week to feed your good gut bacteria and boost your immune system. Lots of fruits and veggie!

Boo

March 03, 2020 - Msg 113820: Hey all.

Boo, so good to see you post. I am glad that things are going ok for you and Bruce. Sounds like you are busy as always. You mentioned beans, fruit, and veggies though. That sounds like the "perfect storm" for disaster for my system. lol

Possum, I was just reading about those tornados. I hope Big Maude is ok. Isn't she from that area?

MDC, Let us know how the project goes with the fan. I remember installing a bunch of those back when I was an apprentice and doing residential work. Some were just fans, some were fans and lights, some were fans and lights and heaters. Easy peasy in new construction but I can see they might be a pain to replace in existing rooms. Hope yours goes well. I am reminded of once we did a home that utilized radiant heat in the drywall. That is the drywall hung on the ceiling had electric heat elements imbedded in the sheetrock. The drywallers had to use a lot of care when installing the sheetrock. They could only shoot their screws in certain places or they risked damaging the heat cables. There was one house that had a panel blow out when we powered it up on a final. It seems the drywaller had managed to hit several cables, causing a direct short circuit in the element and blewie when we cranked on the stat to turn it on. We never did know if it was intentional or accidental as the guy had quit the job a day or two after the installation, and it was several weeks before the house hit the final inspection when the blowout happened. What a mess though. The panel had to be removed and a new one installed. The new carpet had some spark damage that needed replacing. And the entire room repainted. Not a fun day.

Romeena, I know how much you love your Tillie. You'd almost thing she had fur and a tail. lol I don't remember if it was you or MDC saying something about how we use girl names for our vee-hickles. I have a Jeep Liberty named Libbie. But my Toyota Tacoma 4X4 had to be more masculine so I named him Tommy. Just seemed the right thing to do. He's a 2001 model and has just barely 50,000 miles on him. (yea, he's a garage queen) I have a half dozen offers to buy him if I ever decide to sell. lol

Well off to rustle up some supper I reckon. Maybe I'll do some kind of breakfast. Sounds good and easy. Just my style.

Asa

March 03, 2020 - Msg 113821: The perfect storm..haha..really Asa? I know you must eat those things! Fiber works wonders. :)

Check in Maude

Boo

March 03, 2020 - Msg 113822: Hello, all Good to see Possum, Boo, and ASA.
Yes, I sure hope Maude is OK in Tenn. Sounds like it was a bad one!
BOO--thanks for the update. It should be a very nice service for Bruce's mother. I used 'movie maker' on my laptop to do a photo tribute for my dad.
I'm glad that there are a few improvements at shoreline. Did they ever fix the sink? But sounds nice to have a little breakroom, and on your boss's dime no less! :)
How is Erin doing at home these days? I have been praying for her.

ASA, GF, SPot. All went well with the bath fan, and yes, it is a Heater, Light, Fan combo unit. It fit the existing cut-out just fine. The only issue was getting the screws driven into the joists. It came with those 'sliders' on each end of the unit, but one
was in a rather hard place to get a drill to screw in the last screw.
(One other thing,... we have blown-in insulation, so I had myself covered up
pretty good, and i put down some boards to crawl on.) The nice thing about this unit is that
the wiring can be done from INSIDE the house. I'll work on that tomorrow, Buddy Epson's favorite day! ha
But after today's experience, I do believe that my attic days are over. From now on I'll just
call the man.

Yesterday, I saw Dawn Wells, AKA Mary Ann, on a Wagon Train episode. She portrayed a young pioneer's wife! And BTW, if ya all think I watch a lot of those, it is actually on a TV at the gym where I
do my workout! :)
Take care my friends! Maudie, please check in when you can.

March 04, 2020 - Msg 113829: good morning porch we have sun today in Danville Illinois wow. been a busy tiring week this week. hopefuly everyone is doing ok. did you know diareha is heredity? yes it runs in the jeans. I will try and stop by more often papa bear

March 04, 2020 - Msg 113830: Good morning porch folks. giving a check point chickie today.

thanks to everyone for checking on me. we are about 5 hours from Nashville and about 3 from Cookeville where the horrific tornadoes were. Its very sad at the devastation and loss of life there. We had some bad storms and rain early yesterday morning but no damage at all.

I'm staying busy with work and then busy on my days off taking care of home stuff, errands and then helping my Mom. The week ends go by so very fast... and the poof its time to go back to work.

Mr. Maude is still looking for work.there is just nothing out there. I guess no one wants to hire a 61 year old old school pharmacist these days. he seems to be handling things ok as far as I can tell. he is more of a person who takes things as they come which I Guess is good.

Lunch menu will be: roast beef sandwiches, chips and little debbie oatmeal cream pie for dessert!
tea, soda or lemonade to drink

better get busy here at work

Prayers and blessings to all
Big Maude

March 04, 2020 - Msg 113831: glad your ok big maude. prayers for the victems families. papa bear

March 04, 2020 - Msg 113832: Morning, folks

Well, getting ready to go thru another rough patch. My Grandmother's birthday is Sunday the 8th and her two year anniversary of her death is the 18th. So my mother is about to go thru two bad dates. After that, I think things will finally settle down.
Maude - Glad to hear you are safe. The pictures out of Nashville and surrounding area are just devastating. I believe I will have some of your lunch as I continue on here.
Boo - the time you and Bruce spent together, laying down and you singing to him, was about as sweet as it gets. My prayers and best thoughts to you both as you work thru the grief and your kid's struggles.
Papa Bear - Hey there! Good to see you!
MDC - Kinda cool seeing all those stars out of their "element", isn't it? I saw Mr. Foley on an episode of The Waltons once.
Hey to Asa, Romeena, G-F, possum, Frankie, SPOT, Sarah and everyone else that attended the Sheriff's Boys Days events.
