There are a bunch of characters from The Andy Griffith Show that guest starred on Matlock. The first is obviously Don Knotts, then Aneta Corsaut aka Helen Crump portrayed a judge, Betty Lynn was a secretary, Pat Hinkle aka Fred from "High Noon in Mayberry portrays a Santa Claus character, Jack Dodson aka Howard Sprague guest stars in The Cult.
