Does anyone here have a good high resolution picture of either Andy or Barny's Badge that they can post here or send in an email?

I'm positive that out of all of the, much traveled, fine folks here on this board that someone has seen the original (and photographed it) badge in person.

I can see by the number of times that this thread has been viewed, that I'm not the only one interested in this subject!

There's an exact replica on e-bay right now that gives you a real clear picture of it if that will help.

I'm guessing that the orginal badge that Andy wore, is either still in his possession, or he has given it to his friend Emmett Forrest, who lives in Mt. Airy.

I already have that badge. It's the best thing going but it's only about 80% accurate.

Look at them side by side...

Quite a few differences if you look closely;
1. Wrong Font
2. Wrong Font Size
3. Upper and Lower Banner Shape Wrong
4. Ciircles Around Perimeter too Small and too Many

I could go on and on.

I noticed the star points touch the banner in the original but not on the replica. I don't have this one but I have the replica that is on Barney's police hat.

If memory serves, it seems tp me that someone here on the board, claimed to own an original. I can't remember who. Maybe somebody here can tell who it is.

That's what I'm looking for. A high resolution digital pic of the badge as it is today.

Imagineer may have an original.

I wonder how many were made throughout the run of the show. I wonder if they got new ones each season. I've never heard it discussed before.
